Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the right fit for me?
Our service is perfect for the busy family with growing kids, constantly in need of new clothes; the hustling professional that wants a budget friendly closet but lacks the time or desire to shop; or anyone wanting a sustainable way to build their family’s closet. Are you adventurous? Flexible? Just want to shake things up? You are in the right place.
What are pickup/shipping options?
Our primary pickup location is in south St. Louis city. Shipping/delivery options will be available upon request at an additional cost which will depend on location and weight of items.
What condition will the items be in?
Everything we purchase will be between gently used to new condition. We will not purchase anything with stains/rips etc. At pickup, items will be in the same state they were when purchased (e.g. not washed, tags still on). We recommend washing items before use. Washing and tag removal available for an additional $30 on request.
What if I am not satisfied with the items purchased?
We do our best to pick pieces we think you’d like, using a detailed survey before shopping. Since you aren’t picking them yourself there is always a chance you might not like something- but that's the risk of personal shopping. A few items might not work out, but you can gain up to a whole new wardrobe for your family! Exceptions to our "final sale" rule can be made in the event you find an item to be damaged beyond gentle wear.
What if I am not satisfied with the items purchased?
Item cost will range from $1-$15+ per piece depending on what YOU want us to spend. On average, a thrifted item is about $3-9 but dresses can be $8-12. You will let us know your approximate budget per item and we will stick to that.
Families - wait - does this mean you'll do kids and men's clothes too?
YES! But we do need to give you a caveat. Kids clothes? Yep, we can do that for you! Men's clothes tend to be quite a bit sparser at thrift stores than women's. Men tend to keep things for longer and donate less often. We can definitely find menswear that isn't pleated pants and worn out graphic tees, but it might just mean that what you're looking for for your guy needs to be a little less specific. (Think "blue or green knit polos" instead of "Grey linen blazer in size Large".
